ABOUT CECILIA
Cecilia Baccigalupo is a three time world champion (1992, 1994, 1996) and organized the first junior world cup in the history of padel. She has a personal connection to the sport few can match, including having taught padel to Diego Maradona. Cecilia is traveling from Argentina exclusively for this event and this is a one time visit, not a recurring clinic.
WHAT SHE WILL COVER
- The history of padel and how the sport has evolved from its earliest days
- Her own path and career, including her three world championships
- How padel courts and rules looked in the past compared to today
- Personal stories from her career, including teaching Maradona and moments with other well known figures like Messi
- She will bring one of the first rackets ever used in the sport, and attendees will get to hold and try it themselves
FORMAT
- Clinic runs on two courts
- Limited to 12 people total, ensuring real access and interaction with Cecilia
- 1.5 hours of clinic plus 30 minutes of Americano style points to close the session
This is a great opportunity to train with someone who did not just play the game at the highest level, but helped build it from the ground up. Cecilia was there when padel courts looked different, when the rules were still taking shape, and when the sport’s earliest stars, from Maradona to the generations after him, were falling in love with it for the first time. Spending an evening or a morning with her is not just a clinic. It is a chance to hear those stories firsthand, hold a piece of the sport’s history in your hands, and understand where the game you play today actually came from.
