How can I upgrade my rating?

Only a Bay Padel  coach  can update your rating.
If you’d like to get re-evaluated, just let the coach know during an  Open Play, Clinic, or Private Lesson.

Club Ratings and What They Mean

Bay Padel uses the following scale:
Beginner (1.0-2.5) – New to padel, learning the rules, scoring, and basic strokes. Still working on consistent rallies and understanding court positioning.
High Beginner (2.5-3.3) – More comfortable with rallies and basic shots. Can serve, return, and sustain play. Starting to understand positioning, tactics, and the use of the walls, but execution is inconsistent.
Intermediate (3.3-3.8) – Good rally consistency with both forehand and backhand. Understands court positioning and teamwork. Beginning to apply tactics like lobs, volleys, and bandejas. Can compete in social matches.
High Intermediate (3.8-4.2) – Solid technical skills and tactical awareness. Confident with serves, returns, volleys, bandejas, and lobs. Uses walls effectively and maintains consistency under pressure. Can compete at a competitive/recreational league level.
Advanced (4.2-4.8) – Very strong technical and tactical ability. Anticipates play, dictates rallies, and adapts strategy. Consistently effective with defensive and attacking shots. Competes in advanced leagues or tournaments.
Advanced Plus (4.8+) – High-level player with exceptional consistency, tactical intelligence, and execution. Plays at a regional/national competitive standard.
